By Train

Modena is well connected via high-speed and regional trains. It lies on the Milan–Bologna line and can be reached from Bologna Centrale in about 20 minutes.

By Plane

The closest airport is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi (BLQ), about 40 km from Modena.

From the airport: Take the Marconi Express to Bologna Centrale, then a direct train to Modena.
Alternatively, taxis and shuttle services are available.

By Car

Modena is easily accessible via the A1 motorway (Autostrada del Sole).
Exits: Modena Nord or Modena Sud.

Recommended parking (outside ZTL):

  • Parking del Centro – Viale Achille Fontanelli, 18 (8 min walk)
  • Garage Ferrari – Viale Trento Trieste, 33 (20 min walk)
  • Ex-AMCM – Via Antonio Peretti, 9 (24 min walk)
  • Street parking (blue lines) is available around the historic centre; fees vary depending on proximity
The conference venue is located near Modena’s Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), which restricts and monitors vehicle access to the historic city centre. Attendees are advised to park outside the ZTL and reach the venue on foot.
